Agreed. We are the system. It is "our district" not "the district," and all students in it are "our students." A guest speaker once said that we should try to be "scouts" b/c once something gets by the scouts, it's too late for the rest. So...We must see ahead because we can never be ahead. And then--maybe--it won't be "too late" for all those that follow.What is our vision?
